Looky what I found listed in a wierd location on govliquidation... Makes me wish I lived in Ohio and not Kansas. A whole freaking demiled 16.

Hrrrm, did some thinking and I'm going to try a bid a few thousand on this puppy when this lot opens. It's good to have relatives with the ability to transport stuff.

Actually, I can't tell at all what the cockpit airframe is like because it only shows the bottom of it. I'm not looking for anything remotely complete. I'm looking for the cockpit tub area for a simpit. I'll built the rest like they do in the viperpit site. There is something very unique to the idea of actually having a simpit that is a real current service warbird airframe though. Even in bad shape it sounds like a fun project. The only other example like this I've ever heard of is that F-15 salvage simpit.

Just a small update. I've entered a bid on the 16 and 4 lot. Please don't bid unless you're serious about purchase. I'd prefer keeping the lot price reasonable.
