Just saw a F-22 fly over my house headed to Sheppard AFB, fist time for everything I guess, OMG it was amazing.

I'm in Toronto and we had two Raptors at the air show in 2007, I was riding my bike down to the viewing area and I saw two speeding figures in the air ... no noise...it felt like ALL the noise around me was sucked out of the air...then all of the sudden.....ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!

The things are LOUD! Very VERY graceful though, it was an outstanding demo. My friend who I was meeting there is a pilot and had his radio tuned to ATC so we could hear the ATC guys talking to the pilots. They flew all the way up from North Carolina for a 20 minute demo and flew all the way back.

Pretty effing cool!

Wow. Coincidence? An F-22 just buzzed my house here in Vegas yesterday! I wasn't home at the time but the GF said he was *really* low. She said treetop but I think maybe more like a couple hundred feet. Said everything in the house was shaking. She wanted to know who to call to complain.

the t-38s have their closed downwind right over the dorms here, now that is cool!
but as I am only a greenhorn I still appreciate it and later it becomes a common thing I bet.

I had an F-22A and an F-15 chase plane (orange tipped) buzz my house landing at Boeing field to show the guys what their work created. Loud as heck.

The only time I've seen an F-22 is when former President Bush was in Seattle and an aircraft was entering restricted airspace. Got to see him pop flares in front of the guy, and it didn't take long for him to land. :tongue:
