Sure Darreck, that's cool by me, thanks for asking. If you could just pass on the youtube link though and not the high res one on my own site, that would be cool. The high-res version is available here now in the download section, so I'll be taking it off my website soon.
Cheers, and thanks, hope they like it.

Hey Gecko, and all. I should set the record straight on that last sailplane shot, so at least people know what I was thinking by it. This film does make a big statement, however it is a somewhat nebulous one, open to interpretation, which is as much a failing in my filmmaking skills, as the limitations of machinima in FSX. Some like it, others not, and I was expecting that. I stuck my nose out with this one, so I expect to take a few hits for it hehe.
For those who didn't like it, for whatever reason, please try not to take it personally. This film isn't an attack against any single person, but an idea, the idea that war continues to be a viable method of solving problems, and one that I can't agree with. It's an anti-war film, but I chose to make it timely instead of historical for my own reasons, and that will ruffle some feathers, for better or worse. I've actually been accused of being 'pro-war' based on my previous films which feature fighter aircraft as things of beauty, but I don't think that will be the case with this one.
That sailplane was meant to represent us, all of us on both sides. No one likes war, but when we attack others, it eventually comes back to us, blindsides us, we hurt ourselves in the process. Anyway, I hope that's how it comes across, and I'll leave it at that, it's a video forum not a political one haha.
As for the effects, I did them all with the FSX SDK. It's not something I can really explain here, it's too complex, but there's a very comprehensive document that comes with it, on how to use the various tools, the effects editor, and xml object placer. It's a pretty big read, but kind of enlightening into how FSX works under the hood.
Cheers!
