What Setup for Armed Assault?

Im just wondering..im just amazed by the "sim"! I used to play the OFP DEMO (lol) and Id really like to get into Arma but I would want to buy the perfect hardware for it so i can max it out and everything. Im not planning to do that anytime soon but it would be great if some of you could post some specs that would be essential and also enhancing.

Simply: The bigger the better. The engine at current status goes trough a heavy optimizing process. So does the first addons. The performance in the whole game for the same machine has relatively been rising with every new patch. And I am not talking about 1-2 Frame/sec.:)

And the graphics settings are very welll customizeable.

For now I would wait with the buying of a new system. wait until the second generation DX10 cards price will go down (approximately in a half year comes the new generation and after the arrival the price of those will start decreasing.)

So for now the best system for the game is the best wich you can buy for money:) A powerful C2D (though it does not support multthreading :() and a and Graphics card with much onboard memory. And 2 or 4 GB of RAM.

I did an upgrade simply because my systems was a wreck, the elcos on my Mobo
started to crack etc...

I'd love to give it a try for you but i'm quite busy atm...
