Wow!!! Amazing stuff, not seen these before. Unfortunately for me the shipping costs to the UK would most likely be astronomical. Would love to see their faces at Customs though!
Actually I have shipped about 12 of them overseas and the cost is not that bad. If you send me your complete ship to address in a PM, I'd be happy to get you a quote
Thanks
Tejay
Too bad I have no money and not enough room for this awesome piece of art. Great job Stang

Well, you could always put a hole in the seat and toss one in the bathroom. That might be taking the flight sim hobby too far though.
I need to get myself one of these seats eventually (not for the bathroom).
Stang
any seats left? Will be talking to Mike Perry and if things work out can come and pic up, he has already E-mailed ya
Thanks
Hey Guys
I can work with you on the 2 seats I have left. Just shoot me a email and we'll work out the details..If you want them I need you to pay for them asap as I have a couple of other people also asking me about them...they're first come first serve.
Mike...check your email
Bing...shoot me an email asap, tejay@sc.rr.co (add the M in com)
For you guys who do not have a cockpit or don't have room for a cockpit, the seat can be used as a combo office chair/flight seat.
Here's a shot just for fun of my "hanger queen" mounted on an office chair base. It works great...sits up for office work and tilts back for flying. You can also mount the stick and throttle at the right height if you like. My throttle is about 5 inches low in the shot but it allows me to push the seat under the desk: up to you how you set it up.
Let me know what you think.

Looks great. I'm definitely in for one, but at a later date. I already have my parachute container. ATM, I'm working on a sailboat restoration project that is taking up my current "away from computer" hobby time.

Disclaimer, I no kidding make no money from the sale of these seats
hehe and a quick quiz, who knows what constitutes a "hangar queen" as referred to in Stang's post, it is an actual Flightline term. Grab

Definition of "Hangar Queen" - Noun 1. hangar queen - an airplane with a bad maintenance record.
I think I will stick with my office chair...that thing does not look comfortable.

Great to have you back!!
Hallo Stang.
Please contact me on alessandrodanny@libero.it.
We would like to have an update about the italian guys kits.
Alex from Italy.
Ciao and welcome back!!
Where is my ACES seat and CP?! I ordered the seat back in august 2007 and the CP in November 2007! Are you even getting my emails? I called the fraud department for my credit card company.
You told me it will be in the mail back in March. I'm tired of waiting. I want answers.

Just a friendly bit of advice, don't sell kit you don't have cut in stock. This'll prevent this from ever happening again and ensure you'll keep a good reputation in the community. The best of intentions can go bad in a personal business when inventory is not kept and shipping dates get into a slippery slope. You might believe that you can whip up kits on an as-needed basis. You might have the best reason in the world why things are delayed, but that is irrelevant to your business and your customer base. Don't sell things you don't have or can't ship within 1 business day. It'll keep you honest in your business no matter what you do. Don't look at this post as an attack on you, but as advice to help change some of your business philosophy.
If this info will help anyone getting there money back. I was able to get my credit card company to credit me the money I sent Tejay(Stang) a year ago...
Basically I printed out all my email transactions with him. I also printed this thread over at frugals... http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=119709 to show I wasn't the only one waiting for the seat.
Then finally typed up a letter about the whole situation(brief overview of our hobby what the product is, why I chose to go through him for this product etc.) Week later I got my money back. Yeah it was a pain, but it worked. I didn't think they would credit me because the transaction was made about a year ago. Oh and don't forget to print out your paypal receipt to include with the stack of papers.

Bhawthorne, Excellent post. I bought my Aces seat May of 2007 and it took until August of 2007 to get it and I had some parts still missing including the rail rollers. Needless to say I will be buying my parts from Jason for the rest of my pit body.

For those in Buisness you might want to seriously think about this...
Do not make a charge on somebody's credit card unless you are certain you have already sent it out and that it will be there in 90 days. Anything over that is considered CC fraud by the CC companies whether you meant for it to be or not and they will come after you. The local authorities and the DA also gets involved in these cases.
I'm not saying anyone is trying to commit fraud here. Just stating what the CC's definition of fraud is. I'm not even getting into the dicusssion of what's going on in this thread. I'm speaking in general terms totally removed from the parties here, and also as a reminder to myself. I had a package one time that was lost in transit and had to hunt it down myself and make call after call because I feared somebody would go to their CC company. It turned up at a hub it should've never been routed to with a damaged label.
I do some buisness with freinds of mine, and I NEVER...I mean NOT EVER do I charge somebody's card until that thing has already been delivered to the Postal Service, UPS, FedEx or however it's going out. It prevents bad things from happening.
