WoW, thats a great aircraft. I assume payware. I am getting my new PC in a couple days, where could I go to get some nice payware military aircraft? Also, what do the prices look like on these things?

Srry for the questions, but I never considerd payware aircraft befor on my old PC because everything had to be set on the lowest settings and looked like a steaming pile of doggy doo, so now with my new PC which I will most likely be able to run everything with all sliders to the right, having a nice aircraft like the that 1 there makes me very excited to fly. :thumb:

~~EDIT~~ ohyea, im looking for FS9 payware. Don't yet have FSX, looking into it though... just hoping my new PC can run everything on at least medium... don't even know if I REALLY want to get it yet either.

~~EDIT#2~~ And that Tweet vid you got up is also very awsome!

That was reminiscent. We never had the ‘bitching betty” in the F-4. If you flew into the ground, you have no one telling you to pull up. Nor, do I remember all those warning horns? It was very much like the real bird.

Just a side note of what it was like for real. When I saw the canopy come down I couldn’t help but remember all the times I flew in the summer.

If there was someone already on the runway and you were #1, you had to lower the canopy because of the noise. The low frequency of the ABs would cut right through your helmet.

Anyway, the AC sucked until you spooled the engines up. So it would be hot as hades in that greenhouse of a cockpit. Your turn would come and your pull onto the runway. As soon as you blasted off you made a 2 G turn out of traffic. Sweat would roll into your eyes stinging them, you mask would want to slide off your wet nose and you wondered why you did this for a living.

LOL Just a side note, you won’t see mentioned in Top Gun.

Thanks for the memories, razor.

John

The auoral notes are specific to F4E/F, there are 3 tones, 15 degrees of AoA, 20, and 30 I think (I can't remember...) the constant tone is the 'maximum safe' the fast one is critical and is about 30 degrees of AoA, and also the 'dude you're about to hit the deck' is specific to the F4E/F :)

There was a vid of this on google vids (a real life training/introduction vid talking about the slats and the new aural tones) but I can't find it....

:)

how was the tiger break? lol
