View Full Version : ATITool
I just found this tool that automatically overclocks your ATI graphics card. I'm about to try this thing out.

You did well to install that tool, lqcorsa, but let me to warn you that it's well worth to have it at hand, but as well is so powerful that you may risk to "overburn" your card... I almost managed to do so the last month to my poor X600PRO.
Bah! Anyway, I was so lucky thatb I can realize jsut in time what was happening, so I halted all the processes running, so it didn't hurt my jewel too much.
As they common say: "Forewarned,...".
Jackal out.

I too used ATI Tools for awhile I used it with NGO Drivers. I believe ATITools is included with NGO so they work together. Here is a link to that... http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1542 Like Jackel said be careful it can cause damage if you get too gungho. Unfortunalty at this time it won't work with my Windows Vista setup so I had to go back to ATI's drivers, which I should mention suck at this time but since Vista is changing so rapidly its hard for them to keep up with till the commercial release of Vista.

I just updated my ATI Drivers from Guru3D tonight, I use the Omega drivers the new 7.1, they work great with my rig, but I'm still running XP and will untill I upgrade to a Quad processor and a DX-10 GC, RAM_RAM_RAM and a couple of Raptors to spice things up and a big fat PS....as soon as my lotto numbers come in...hehe

What kind of frame rate increases can be expected with overclocking the graphics card? Is it worth the decreased life and increased temperatures??
