This is seriously frustrating for me to try and play this online. Hopefully y'all can gimme some things to try and help me out with this.

Ok first of all, NFL Madden 07 runs fine on single player, very smooth, no problems at all. Way different story for playing online. A couple minutes after I've started a game, I suddenly drop to about 1 FPS, and my game violently skips and sudders around, making it nearly impossible to play, mostly/only skipping during a play. The people I'm playing agains't never see the same thing though.

Heres what I've already eliminated as a possible cause.

- Anti-Virus (Totally Off)
- Spyware Protection (Totally Off)
- Ports and/or Router Not Configured (I don't have a router)
- Game Not Up To Date With The Latest Version
- Graphics Settings Too High (Like I said, game runs fine on single player, and there shouldn't be a reason for this, as my system is definetly good enough for this game. Besides, I've already tryed turning the graphics all the way down).
- Too Many Background Programs (Not My Problem, Just Trust Me)

Any Ideas?

dont have the game but why not update the game.

and if your internet provider is sprint than you have to portforward your modem if it's the stock one from sprint, which would be a zyxel ### on portforward.com

and last, who's hosting the game, you or someone else, if you are than you might have to drop down the settings, or if not hosting you still might want to drop down the settings, used to have problems like that on bf2 with my old computer, fine in singleplayer but as soon as i entered anything over a 32 person server, ran like crap.

also whats your comp specs

Like I listed in my original post,

Heres what I've already eliminated as a possible cause.

nothing wrong with your hardware...
since your connecting.. I would say windows firewall is not a issue.

can you run a ping against the host and see if your delaying there?
(run it 20 -30 times... ping -n 30 X.x.X.x)

run nbtstat and netstat and see whats running and try to see if something isn't making sense...

DirectX upto date also? (for direct play aspect..) There is a December redist build available at MS..

Keep your antivirus and anti spyware on for pete's sake.
Just tell them to ingore the madden07 directory.

Since you're not behind a firewall,,,you're playing with the devil.

are you absolutly sure it's not spyware?

I know the last post in this thread was over a week ago... but just for the hell of it... I experience the EXACT SAME THING on the xbox 360 version over XBOX Live. I already hated this game for ruining the camera view on the superstar mode, and eliminating all the Owners Mode stuff from the season mode, and then when I wanted to try the last thing to save this game for me, the online gameplay.... it was totally ruined. I tried it many differnet times, same result every time, also tried it on a friends internet connection since I am on DSL ( 7mb/s DSL though) and he was on cable, and still got the same thing. I will stick to my origional xbox 06 version.
