Gecko - I haven't heard from you in a while! How's the project going?
To the nice gent that did the Gecko nose art - I've tried sending you email in the past, but the mail hard-bounces. Ideas?
tnx all!

Still working on the East Coast and my pit is in the Midwest. But I will be done here on the 20th so I will get back to working on her soon.
Talk to you soon and Dale will send you an Email.
Good to see you guys still in action. I've been following geneb's project for quite some time and it's nice to see a simpit with a real story behind.
wooow both project are really impressive !
Ooops, sorry, don't get me wrong. I've discovered Geckos pit only recently. The "story behind" thing was related to the pits that were build from the scratch and how nice it must be to sit in yours (Eagle or Corsair) and imagine how many stories they could possibly tell...
:red: again, my bad.
From what I have gathered, my pit was in combat but I cannot locate specific BUNO numbers to get the squadrons or where is served. But when I look at my pit I can see the history just beaming off of it.
Just to think that someones Father, Sons, and Grandfathers once piloted it makes me smile.

Man thats an awesome setup you have there.
Any ideas on a projected (or hopeful ;)) completion date. This seems like quite an undertaking. Exciting though! Keep up the good work.
