Could I get some help with FSX.cfg?

So, yeah, umm, I don't have a FSX.cfg file for one reason or another :bigeyes:. I was looking around at some tweaks for FSX and they all involve fsx.cfg. I did a computer search, for all files and folders for fsx.cfg and it came up with nothing. I also looked in

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX

Help me please!! Where is it?

Try looking in C:\Documents and Settings\(your name)\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX . I found mine there.

It might be hidden also. You most definitely have one, some just need to look harder to find it. :rofl

Sorry, that wasn't really that funny at all. The .cfg is really a useful tweaking tool, it's like having ultimate control over every option there is.

Umm, a wide computer search for it, and nothing showing up, and searching through my main FSX and searching through Application Data\Microsoft\FSX 6 or 7 times, doesn't look hopeful. I know what it is, hinting me saying I want to find it so I can tweak my sim.

Yep, and its not that I can't see hidden files, because I can see a bunch of CFG files. What the heck is going on!!!???

Ummmm C:\Dokuments and Settings\<YOUR NAME>\Application data\Microsoft\FSX ?

Strange thing, fsx.CFG is not even hidden. So you should be able to at least search for it

I got it fixed on the FS2004.com forums. I typed

%appdata%/microsoft/fsx

and it came up...
