Stick or Yoke

I just purchased X-Plane (will be running it on an iMac) and am wondering if it's better to buy a stick or a yoke. I'm sure much of it is personal preference. Any thoughts on this?

IMHO a stick is more versatile for PC sims.

It will mostly be GA aircraft with the occasional military jet flight and Space Shuttle landing. I'm leaning toward a stick because I heard the yoke isn't quite as versatile.

Well, I use a stick because I fly Space Sims, Flight Sims, and Military Flight Sims. To solve my Airline Transport Pilot with a stick issue, I just take advantage of fly by wire, and
fly airbus's :thumb:

The good thing about a stick is, you can use it for military flight, and civil flight, but with a yoke, you can't use it for fighter jet flyen. Hope this helps.
