It reminds me very much about IL-2, but the cockpits and weather looks awesome! A bit disappointet by the looks of the terrain (not the geometry) but I hope it will look good when I'm flying over it :smile: oh, and the combat system? can't wait for the first video of it! :wink2:

Gee, that shur is perdy! I think the clouds were quite impressive. Very real looking. Not just in their shape and depth, but also in the feeling that watching that guy fly through the clouds gave me. It's very similar to the feeling I get flying through actual clouds...The cockpits were amazingly detailed, from what they showed of them. I would love for one of the FO cockpit devs to comment on the quality of these cockpits. Not to compare them to the cockpits that will be in FO you understand, but I would love to have the opinion of someone who is in the know about what really makes up a quality cockpit. I liked the look of the terrain, although I don't like how flat it looks...Is England really that flat? Somehow I doubt it...Also: The framerate in this demo from the in-game shots was horrendous. I'll assume this is something they're still working on, but I still don't much like it...

The frame rate really does suck, doesn't it. I hope that isn't a top end computer they are running it on. I'm waiting for FO to upgrade my puter, not BOB. BOB will be the filler in between the release dates.

im upgrading my computer for both games. or i'll customize meself a new one when Vista is released.

I love ww2 warbirs as much as, or perhaps more than current day fighters so BoB will keep me occupied for quite a while ;)

the video is taken from a two month old engine, hopefully they have optimized it quite a bit by now.
