Anyone using the Simped F-16 USB rudder pedals? If so how do you like them, can you use them in other games besides Flight simuators? I do want some really good pedals for a pit that I'd like to build in the future. I got the Saitek X52 stick and Hotas from the contest here (which I LOVE!!!), and now I need to compliment that with a set of pedals.
I looked at CH Products but, honestly I don't care for the width between those.
Saitek is putting out some pedals in August, and I have my eye on those, but haven't heard much about it. I'd like to review those before I buy.
I looked up the Simped pedals, which are gorgeous!! A little steep in price. 270 Eur which I think is about $350 U.S. bucks. I wouldn't mind saving more for these if they are worth it.
Share your pics or thoughts, thanks!

The CH pedals are close together, but I'm thrilled I bought them. They're extremely accurate and I have mine programmed to emulate pressure sensitive braking. They feel alot like the brakes in my car, press harder the plane stops faster.
If you afford it then definitely go for the simpeds. Takes a while to get them but they're worth the wait.
I started out with CH pedals but found them to be a bit toyish and overall, not that good. The CH pedals will work fine with a cougar provided that the sim/game you are using supports multiple controllers. Im pretty sure most current sims do but you may just want to double check beforehand. The CH pedals are a fair bit cheaper than the Simpeds but they are nowhere near as good in my opinion. If you could put a dollar figure on quality and looks then the Simpeds are far better value.
I have the F-16/C (Designed for use with the Cougar only) Id say the USB ones would be just as good.
Yes. I am using Simped F-16 USB. Just got them 2 weeks ago.
Looking to the Precision of the Axis they are brilliant without no centering problems at all ( self-centering Hall-Sensors ).
The Installation is very easy - Just plug them in . No Software needed. U just have to execute one .reg file so the right name is shown in options Gamecontrollers.
If u dont have ingame options to set the curves u can choose 3 different by klicking one micro-button on the hardware itself.
The differential Break Sensors work by pressure any very good.
The mechanics are very solid and ok... and if u want to adjust the strenght of the mechanics u can replace the springs very easy.. I changed them with kind of advanced rubber stripes.
And if u dont like the angle of ur peddals u can change the angle of the spring below.
At the end.. I was searching and thinking bout peddals but i am glad that i took this choice. :bheart:
