Looking very impressive. And by the looks of things very expensive on the hardware side.
I do hope his release date is spot on. But with all the detail, the dynamic weather, new engine etc..... i can't help but think it won't be this year. (which is not a bad thing as IL2 still has a lot of life in it yet with the two add ons we have left. + It will give me time to save for a beast of a machine needed to run it)
Between BOB:Sow and Hopefully FO, there will be more than enough to satiate my flight hunger....

How much do you bet that the brit rides will be underpowered in concurrence to the " russian data", while the Lufties fly ME-262's and other jets from the fantasy Luftwaffe'46 that Oleg has been obsessed with.

LOL, Yes i do understand your post. But i am assuming (where assumption is the mother of all ****ups), that it will follow traditional craft that was present in that period and hopefully keep the fantasy flights out.
But this new release does seem to have the same mechanic of future upgrades and theatre expansions as IL2 has had, so who knows if the fantasy section aircraft will enter.
As to the modelling of aircraft performance. We can only hope that his figures are correct. Despite a few shortcomings, he has done remarkably well with what we have received currently. So i cannot complain. We have received a lot of free-bees
