5" vga monitor

been looking at these.........thinkin about working mfd

I have the spec sheet but don't know how to post them here..they are PDF.
Apparently they connect using a standard 15 pin connector.
anyone have any info, ideas or suggestions about these monitors(used as mfd in FO?

The dimentions shown are the outer frame, not the viewable area, so that might be an issue. I'd shoot for around a 6.5" car lcd type of panel. The 640x480 res is good on the tube, but I think in MFD viewable area is roughly 100mmx100mm screen so that tube is going to come up short on the height. There are a few thread in viperpit.org on sizing screens for the MFDs. Might check to see the solutions they used.
