View Full Version : Classified "Barrakuda" UCAV Photographed
The joint German/Spanish (and maybe Swiss) UCAV was photographed during tests at EADS' facility in Munich.
Approx. dimensions are thought to be about 8m long with a span of around 10m however details are not available about the project as it is currently classified. :gleam:

In other news FO forum member "batfink" is reported missing, after revealing classified informasion about a new german UCAV...
Anyhow, thats one nice plane, however I dont like the idea of UCAVs.
Its like Terminator coming to life :tongue:
Yeah keep an eye out for black vans with spinning roof racks out side your house, and i second the opinion the ucavs suck, how can you have an airshow with a load of robots:nono:
Haven't seen any vans yet. Its the Black Helicopters that I'm worried about:eek:

I dont like the idea of UCAVs.
But look on the bright side. If WW3 breaks out and they start building thousands of RPVs, the AF might look to the hard-core fligh sim community to pilot them, hehe. :bigsmile:

yeah, sun stealer :thumb: ....i've been thinking the same thing for years now....the flight sim community is a vast resource that is being
overlooked....just "crank out" UAV's, upload the scenerio to us...save gobs of training money.

:thumb: Yep, in 10 years time us lot could be sat in hangers all over the world flying our UAV's dowtown Hong Kong, lol. Carrier based in the Pacific of course. :bounce:
