been collecting virtual aviation [especially aerobatic] vids for a while now...dont remember coming across anything from the falcon community...lots of LOMAC, IL-2, Pacific Fighters, and MSFS... Thats because Falcon pilots are too busy. There are "dynamic" wars going on you know!:bigsmile: :wink2: :thumb:


(or on the other hand it could be because the gfx are lame so it just wouldn't have the eye candy appeal)

Next time make sure you eject over Bosnia. When you're there give me a call I'll pick up your wet, scared ass and make sure you get back home. LOL:thumb:

You can make Aerobatic movies in F4 but its not as easy as lockon since you cannot have spectator mode or track recording. When you make movies of F4 you basically can only record what you see when flying. Also you have to use FRAPs or some other program to do it. Lockon can convert a track into AVI on its own. Thats one of the big advantages of FC as far as movie makings concerned.

Have an extra person in the flight sitting on the tarmac, external views enabled, change aircraft (key 8), and then that person can Fraps from the flightline Tower view (Alt-0) for a spectator view, and Fraps the formations from the orbit, chase, tower views etc maybe?

Falcon is more of a sim for combat, not really totally suited for aerobatic routines since the coordination of camera angles is extemely limited compared to the other sims.

Also up close the animation is not so good online if you're in tight formation.

Probably because Falcon is difficult to get good frame rates with. Even with top equipment...
