Hey guys, back into the swing of things, our first special guest for the Area 51 teamspeak server is going to be a good one:
Im Joe Anthes. I am an F-22 Avionics Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin. I specialize primarily in Attack, Control, Communication, and Identification systems. My job is basically to fix broken F-22s on the Modline(depot) in Palmdale, CA. I have a fair bit of flight test experience, dealing mainly with check flights on birds coming off of the modline. However, i have been to Edwards and worked flight test there for a bit.
Before working at Lockheed i was an avionics tech in the USAF working on the beloved F-16. :)
I'll also point out that Joe is here not as a representitve of Lockheed Martin, the views and opinions he will give are his own. There are obviously many classified systems in the F22, so please respect the fact that if he indicates that a particular question is too sensitive, don't push the subject. I'm sure what he is able to tell us will be extremely interesting.
The session will be on the 21st of January at 2300 GMT
