I have noticed that there is no F-16D in Allied force !
Of course I can pick D version but it looks like F-16 C.
Have anyone noticed that??

I've also noticed that external F-16 model is incorrect i.e. engine intake or vertical tail unit. They moddeled blk. 40,42,50,52 and MLU but they didn't make separate 3D models.
My point is that there are two types of intake: so called big and small mouth depending what type of engine is mounted. Even modelled smal mouth type have incorrect shape! They also forgot that some MLU's have drag chute.
Maby it's nothing but i think that at least this jet should be perfectly modelled.

Hopefully FOs F-16 will show what a real one looks like.

One could be even pickier and note that the nozzle depicted on all the AF variants are of the P&W engine, however, the P&W nozzle should have 15 turkey feathers and not the 12 in the sim. The GE nozzle has 12 feathers and a slightly different shape.

LP asked community to help their modeling before, so I guess we could get the perfect F-16 models sometime
but... I am not sure if that could happen because the major modelers, memebers of FF and SP don't seem to like they are interested in fixing the models. LP is just concentrated on stability issues. Maybe we would get the perfect models some time next year
I am the one who disappointed with LP in this point

If you have a look in the FighterOps thread there is a screenshot from F4 of an F-15 that was supposed to feature in a version of one of the F4 mods. The guy that did that model is a 3d modeller for FO and its far better than any previous version of F4s 3d models. One good thing about AFs latest patch is the Flight Models. They feel much better now, :thumb:
