Pork barbecue with lots of vinegar and mustard. I dislike it that way, personally (prefer Texas BBQ...), but that's how they eat it up in the 'Heel state!

I got this girl in my class...I live in germany and she is an exchange student from the USA, she is from NORTH Carolina...I dont know what you do in that state but i want to impress her with something or make her feel more at home since germany is a whole different cultural thing and she has to learn german too..Im one of the few who has talked to her and she is actually quite good looking but thats another thing anyways thats not my point, i just want to make her feel more at home! Got any tips? ANyone? Whats North Carolina-ish?

I think that you will find that a true southern girl is very much into being treated like a lady. Open the door for her, compliment her on what she is wearing, etc. They LOVE that stuff! I think that if you just be yourself and have fun she'll appreciate that the most. Like all other girls, the southern ladies like flowers and YES like Hacker said...Mustard based Bar B Que!
