I recently purchased X-Plane 8. I have 6 & 7 and I like to keep current. Nice piece of software. I've only played with it a bit.

What I have noticed is the F-16 is absent from this version. Further, there doesn't seem to be any 8.0 Vipers out there for download (free or pay). Is this because of the development of Fighter Ops? If anyone has a good F-16 for X-Plane 8 please point me to the link.

No, there's no "deal" or anything preventing anyone making an F16 or any other aircraft for any version of X-Plane.

I've found some F-2s KaimaN, just no F-16s. Very strange.

Hey guys! That's a really nice screenshot, nice view of the scenery! By the way forcebomr, you may know this already, but there is a really nice F-16 available for free download at: www.xplanefreeware.net/~barry
Unfortunately, the xplanefreeware.net site is down right now because they are changing servers and they have to move all of their current information to a different location, which I would imagine could take a while, but as soon as it is up again, the above link will take you to a page of planes designed by Barry Leger, and they are all really cool. The F-16 comes in a bunch of different liveries, and there's a fictional Super Falcon there too. Also, somewhere at www.x-plane.org I believe there is an A-10 Wharthog available ...
