Below I have several links to a great review of the capabilities of X-Plane. Since FO owes its heritage to X-Plane the biggest question for me is how well FO will allow me to model my pit and drive my lights, gauges, Avionics, and displays.

Part 1 (http://www.simhq.com/_air4/air_140a.html)
Part 2 (http://www.simhq.com/_air4/air_141a.html)
Part 3 (http://www.simhq.com/_air4/air_142a.html)

I know that I have restated this question many times in here. This is not done out of spite but out of a serious need for me to identify the sim that I will build my pit around.

Here are some really good shots.

No NODS

With NODS

I am really excited and there is a real possiblility that FO could be the Defacto Standard for all military Pit builders if you develop with us in mind.

Thank you.

No offense Gecko, but I'd rather stick with patches from XSI.
I gave up F4 due to a complicated installation, so many patches, updates, FFS, BMS, Cobra, etc etc.

I might be a bit old fashioned, but I like it centralized.

I agree with you 110%.

My post is just helping us pit builders with a baseline for what FO might be able to do for us. The skeleton of a pretty damn good combat sim is there and I am excited for FO capabilities.

This is a positive post and I support FO.
