HI - I am a former USAF pilot. Flew B-52s over Nam SEA and later RF-4s (which I loved) out of Shaw, AFB and now Austin Airport, Berstrom, AFB. I finished up flying F-4C in the ANG.

I am presently building a T-38C simpit, which I hope to one day share with BSA Scouts, CAP cadets, etc.

Thank you gentlemen! I see that you have some current fighter jocks posting. If anyone wants to know what it was like flying with the Wright brothers, let me know.

It is good to see a site for fast movers. Most of the simmers seem to be big iron people. I flew B-52's as well as fighter. Let me tell you, a fighter is sooooo much more fun to fly than a dump truck.

Makes pit building a lot easier I'd imagine? :wink2:

Linebacker 2? When flying F-4s did you happen to know/meet Ed Rasimus?

Oh yeah, welcome!

Yes, especially the gauges.

Sun, I was not involved with either Linebacker. I missed them. All my missions were South of the DMZ. Just bombed monkeys and trees.

I don't recall an Ed Ramsimus? Was he a Recon guy? I was in the RF-4C. Took pictures.

Here are a couple pics of where I am now. All construction has come to a halt for the moment. Adm. Miguez has order me to finish the bathroom remodeling project, which we have been planning for six months.

Nah, he flew F-4C, D, n E's from Korat. Just wondered on the off chance if your paths ever crossed. He's a nice bloke. His website might be of interest to you (www.thunderchief.org (http://www.thunderchief.org/)).

Looks good enough for cadets already! http://fighterops.com/forum/images/smilies2/image0011.gif Best to do what your CO says and do the bathroom first. http://fighterops.com/forum/images/smilies2/image0011.gif
