before we used to be able to have ourselves invis when surfing the board...and since you guys upgraded some stuff..we no longer have that option

why?

i would rather be able to have invis on...but thats me

You can still go invis on the board, just go to your User CP and then go to Edit Options, its the first check box.

no its not...that is the allow vcard download..there is no more option on mine to go invis

nope..still not working...even cleared out all the cookies and files from the system..and nothing...for some reason the option is not showing up anywhere in my options

thanks patrick..well it was working..it has since revereted back again...it had the option in there...but now its gone again

It was a managers decision to remove that option. We feel there's too many people invisible, and we don't see any reason why they should be, anyway.

well personally it should be the member decision not management

every single forum out there has that option why...because not everyone wants to be shown on the forums and what thread they are looking at

its called privacy for a reason

and as far as to many invisible..

who cares how many are invis...

Even if you are invisible we can track what people are looking at, and there is no need for us to even do that.

yes only the Admins and the one mod we have....so thats what 5-7 people total?

other then that...no one else can track or know you are online

Ok, we've had a chat about it, and agreed to enable the invisible mode as a privilige for Area 51 members. Let me know if it's working ok now.
