Here is one from me. It's not because of the picture itself, but of the story behind :bigsmile:
It was made during an online naval strike with one of the guys in my squadron. After he was hit from a SAM he thought his viper will go down and ejected. After that he left the game imediately but the viper was still fine and so the KI got cotrol again and flew to home base with me :clap:

Hey did it land itself and park up? Its funny when things like that happen, if only we could slave them if someone bailed out in real life and the aircraft somehow managed to regain control.

No, in my pit I've replaced the ACES-II with my own invention - the ejection toilet.

I call it the DUECES-I.

(One euphemism we have for using the facilities here is 'dropping a deuce')

On a less contrived note...I seem to have had a bomb hang up on the racks. Note that this is shot from a "weapon view". I have another shot from the same flight where I rolled inverted and the bomb was still on my wing...despite having been "released".

If you use winXP, just open the bmp in paint and resave it, just change the filetype to jpg.

Yeah those shots were taken straight after I had installed it. I'm planning on putting some enhancements on it soon. Runs better now though than the other versions did.

you probably didn't get bad rep....problem is if the person giving you rep..doesn't have any rep or not enough..it then shows up as a grey square...

It appears to be pre-BMS as the nozzle isn't corrupted by z-fighting.

Hi Gwac, those shots were taken a while back in 2003.... details are a little fuzzy but it was a BMS version with SP3.... the skin is from Hrenner.... Hirez skin download (http://www.freefalcon.com/userdownload/DDS_Viper_Skin.zip)

You might have to check out their website, dam that F15 model looks good. Are all of the moving parts working now Twix. Just wondering if they finally bothered to animate the hook yet?

Unfortunately that F15 model is not for Falcon AF, it is more a "what could have been" shot from a free addon for falcon that was in development.

I guess the good news out of this is that the skinner who is responsible for that model is on the Fighterops team, so it's an indication of the quality work he does.

Here are mine:

This one is kind of funny. It was my first time doing an air to air campaign and I relly didn't know what I was doing. I didn't really know how to find any bandits so I was just kind of flying around. I then see a jet moving across my screen so I go and chase it down. Turns out that it was not a jet but a missle that had missed its target, ran out of steam and was just cruising around. So I decided to get a good pic of it.

The graphics aren't that bad, in areas like the runway they are much better. AF is still playable eventhough it looks a little rough in places.

Falcon 4's code is from earlier than 1998. Lockon is probably no older than 2002.
Wow those screenshots look like cr@p you need some aa and af on those. Does the game look different with aa and af on, cause that doesn't do anything for me, *cough* lock on looks 1000000000 times better.

yeah..when you have the most uber machine in the world pushing it...Lock on maybe better in graphics on some machines..but bottom line is..Falcon is and always has been better then Lock on

no SF to deal with

just about any machine can play it..and with signifigant results.unlike lockon

That ultimately depends on what you're doing online! SF is a non-issue, but true enough you do need at least 1gig ram and a decent graphics card/CPU to play it. The trade off is much more realistic gunzo/BVR tactics and missile behaviour with a good damage model. Then AF has a good DC and some brilliant missions, more detailed avioincs. A/G on lockon is more rewarding though graphically. The ultimate is F4s DC and avionics with lockons graphics/damage model/ Advanced flight model and missile behaviour.
