When you use the speed brake do fill the drag effect of the speed brake and saw picture of pilot,s with earplug, in there ear,s is there alot of noise from the jet in side cockpit. Is there any vibration in the cockpit does your seat vibrate. Thank,s Duncan Falcon 1377

Yes, you can feel the drag when you put your speedbrakes out. It is surprising how well those four little "boards" can slow you down so quikly!
I wear ear plugs with my helmet, also. It isnt extremely loud in there like you would expect. The ear plugs tend to dampen some of the loud high pitch noise from the ECS and radios for me. Everyone is different though!
Not a whole lot of vibration in there actually. It's a pretty smooth ride to me!
Thanks for the questions Falcon!

Boards when opened at around .9 mach and up will make a nice loud BANG due to airflow differences, could easily be mistaken for a sonic boom, pilots however would never hear this because the noise is behind them. Grab

I would imagine such a sound would be somewhat disconcerting to someone who isn't expecting it.
