F16 up grade

Is the f .16 being up dated to match the block 60 i under stand the Joint stike air craft bomb load has reduce do weight problem .If the joint strike fighter mothballed .Will the air force buy the block 60 . thank,s Duncan Harrington Falcon1377 :clap: :clap: :clap:

Hi. I don't think USAF will by so many Block 60.. think they will prioritate the JSF and the very expensive Raptor :smile:

Sry, misread... I don't think the Jsf project will be scraped at all... they will find a fix for it :smile: If not I have no idea what will be next :smile:

With all those other countries investing in the JSF project, mothballing the JSF is simply out of the question.

So far, ive heard that the USAF is not upgrading to block 60. The only upgrade is the CCIP upgrade to the Block 52's.

The very LAST USAF F-16 rolled off the line a month or two ago, was a Block 50 sent to Shaw, line is now closed. We are going to rely on CCIP 40's and 50's, the crews are still working the bugs out of the MMC portion of the upgrade but it should be good in the long run. Grab
