Hey Haole,
A couple questions just came to mind..
1) On the air source switch, the "DUMP" means to dump cockpit air pressure. I am curious what situation would call for dumping the current cockpit pressure?
2) Does the F-16 have a dumping fuel switch somewhere? I can't find one anywhere in my resources so I am wondering if you can dump fuel? Or do you just hit the burners until you are happy with the fuel quantity?? :D

You can not dump fuel in the 16

I think a cabin pressure above field air pressure after landing can pop the canopy up if unlocked without being equalised by the RAM DUMP switch? Perhaps damaging it??

RobO Canopy stays locked until shutdown, not an issue. Grab

OFF-Engine Bleed air valves close. all air-conditioning, cooling, and pressurization functions cut off, including G-suit, PBG, canopy seal, and fuel tank pressurization.
NORM-Air conditioning system set for automatic temp and pressure regulation.
DUMP-Cockpit pressure dump valve opens to atmospheric pressure. Cockpit pressure altitude increases if DUMP is selected above 8,000MSL. Conditioned air ventilates cockpit and performs all other system functions.
RAM-Engine bleed air valves close and the cockpit pressure dump valve opens to atmospheric pressure. Cockpit pressure altitude increases if RAM is selected above approx 8000MSL. All air conditioning, cooling, and pressurizing functions shut off, including G suit, PBG, canopy seal and fuel tank pressurization. The RAM air valve opens to admit ram air to ventilate the cockpit and avionic equipment.
You would use this for smoke in the cockpit, FLCS temp malfunctions etc.
