Well, these aircraft (and the way they are implemented) have never been modeled as accurately as they will be in FO, so you could say that we have never flown them before. Ask Haole if he's sick of flying his bird year after year. I can tell you he'll say 'no way!'

Software developers have to target their products at a wider audience. I'm sure these aircraft will eventually come in FO though. Although there isn't enough available data to model Typhoon and Rafael yet.

Anyway, most customers (not talking about hard core flight simmers) want an aircraft that is at home in a wide variety of roles, from AA to CAS. Otherwise they'd be bitching that their Tornado can't turn with those pesky MiG-29's! :red:

Yep!!!
We are attempting to model very accurate data from the real thing. I have posted this before, "you will have to re-educate yourself on how to fly a vurtal aircraft when it is modeled to be as accurate as the real thing (as close as moderen computers will get it).
And relax, FO isn't going anywere, there will be plenty of mods with all kinds of aircraft for FO. Give it some time. This is gonna be coooool! :bounce:

Hi jhook, Why is it so much harder to produce jet flyables than it is to make WW2 style flyables?

All the best to your project!

If FO has the capacity for future addons with realistic aircraft and weapons systems modelling it will be truly awesome. I appreciate the technical difficulties involved with this but I am looking forward the possibility.

Screen shots look good so far.

Compare the cockpit of a Spitfire and a F16 and you'll get an idea :-)
AFAIK it's also a lot harder to model supersonic flight.
