Hey guys when F/O sees the light of day what would you fly? F16, F15, or the A10
Probably all 3 but mostly the F-16

Same - although I'm looking forward to the possibility of Front Seat / Back Seat multiplayer of the F15 and F16D
For me the F-15E will be the fighter of choise.

The F-16 is mine, and our (www.1stgw.com), favourite Model. But by the way, i would like to fly the F-15E Version, 'cause I think it's the best Multi-Role Fighter next to the Viper.
And the F-22 Raptor could be funny.

Ahh, the heady days of flying LB2 with the 404th. What a great sim - if HO is as compelling as that it will sell like hot cakes. Front and Rear seat in same aircraft multiplayer - it was done well 7 years ago, it can be done even better now.

Yeah, its real fun to just pop-up a little with the mast on the Kiowa and paint those tanks. They won't know what hit them. What the Hell just port the whole freckin game onto FO and I'd be happy.:beer:

I love all 3 of them like many others, but for me its dogfighting all the way, so it would have to be the F-16.

As we've seen in the past with games like Lomac a limited amount of flyable aircraft is an incredibly inhibiting factor with flight sims, i think your team of designers should get hard at work to design as many flyable aircraft as possible, if no time is allotted, at least find the time to integrate the F18, that is a fighter that has been lost in many a combat sim, i have not seen it in many sims in the past, save (oddly enough) F/A 18 by janes. This jet is incredible, and its many roles are vital to FO in my opinion, but as a response to the question here, i would definitely fly the F-16, i live near Buckley AFB near Denver, there is an F-16 unit out of that base and i've loved that aircraft ever since the first day i've seen it, however, i often miss flying the f18 which is the second jet i would like to be able to fly, and i hope it is not skipped over in the designing of this game, that would definitely be a detrement to the overall effect of this game on me, and a severe dissapointment.
I know you guys are hard at work, and keep it up i just hope there is time for the development of the f18

I can't fly F-14 since Fleet Defender - and that's almost 11 years ! :sad:
The Eagle Dynamix said that they won’t do anything with MFD or Two seats, so my only chance for getting Tomcat is FO.

Probably lots of A-10...if the AI can manage covering above me. A nice large package all around my flight would be awesome...hearing an F-16 on the radio knock out a SAM for me...and then watch it clear a Frogfoot outta my way while I drive straight at a line of tanks...hehehehe

The F-16 primarily and then the F-15. A-10s don't entice me. Give me a plane that I can defend myself in rather than hoping to run away...Air-to-Air in an A-10 just isn't going to happen.
I think I'll probably be a big fan of the A-10 once the game is released. There is something gritty and cool about being down low in direct support of the grunts on the ground. Leave the high boys in the sky so I don't have to worry about running away. Maybe its just a damn ugly and aggressive plane. Kinda like me... Ugly.
I have always kinda had a love for the F-111. I am guessing its not in service anymore but I always thought that was such a cool plane. I remember when I was a kid going to the air show at Brunswick Naval Air Station and seeing an F-111 parked there. There was a pilot there who talked to me for quite sometime and even alllowed me to climb up to take a close look in the cockpit. I recall seeing a dozen box of Dunkin Donuts half eaten on the dashboard of his jet. I don't know why I remember that so well but I was completely taken back (as a kid) by the fact that this pilot ate doughnuts and he actually had them on the dashboard of this plane. Though my corrected vision and two bad shoulders kept me from ever seeing the front doors of flight school the dougnut thing must have had an effect on me because I became a cop instead.
Anyways I don't care what I fly as long as this game gets released. When it does I am gonna strap my butt into my chair, fire up FighterOps and taxi down my virtual runway with a 12 box of Dunkin Doughnuts in on top of my monitor. All in homage to that aging F-111 pilot who took the time to talk to me years back.

They also have the most comfortable seats of any combat aircraft or so I've heard regarding Aussies F111s.

Hehe, would be nice to have the Gripen in there. Or even Viggen. But of those three said I'd choose the F-15E easily. Must be because the first sim I flew was Jane's F-15
