Callsign

Hi Haole,

just a few questions:

- how do you pronounce your call sign? is it "Hay-olè" (olè as in the bull fighting Olè!) or is it "Hay-ol" (ol as in the good ol' boys), or is it something else??
- How did you acquire this call sign?

I found this posted from Haole some time ago :



Haole(pronounced like howl-ee)...type it in yahoo search and see what it says...my first deployment with the squadron was to Hawaii for two weeks to train with the Hawaii Air National Guard F-15s and I got my call sign while there. I'm a pretty pale blonde haired guy. I think you get the picture. Haole basically means really white boy from the mainland, etc...
