View Full Version : What is your next Hardware upgrade
Ok What is your next Hardware upgrade for you beast.
I am waiting for the XFX-FX6800U to come to Australia, we always have to wait soooooooooo long for things down under.
Pentium 5, 5Ghz when its released.
I need more RAM. Somehow it seams I always need something for this PC.
Just bought myself a laptop, wife won't be happy if I bought something new, but I'm thinking 2 options here.
Or 1 gig of RAM to make a RAMdrive
Or upgrade my CPU from a 2.8 to a 3.4 or 3.5.
Best,
Pentium 5, 5Ghz when its released. So you will be buying a new PC  RAM CPU M/B Power-pak. I hate when they make a new CPU, you have to upgrade the dam lot, its very costly but we still do it.

I intend to buy a whole new system and network the two. I'd say there would be a new version of windows when the 64bits hit the market.

I just bought athlon 64 3800 and Gforce 6800 Ultra. I have 1 gig of ram and considering that there are currently no games that use more than 512M, upgrading ram is pointless since it wont improve performance. I'm waiting for the next generation Nvidia highend PCI Express and Dual Core Cpus to hit the market for my next upgrade. That wont be for awhile.
Hey Everyone,
Just got my 6800GT a couple of weeks ago. I think I'm waiting on the X-53 to come out. I want a new HOTAS and the X-53 looks awsome. I heard it was out, but I can't seem to find it yet. :thumb:

Welcome to everything on FULL!!! The series 6 cards are pretty awsome! :thumb: Watch the anti-alaising, you can turn it up, but when you playing stuff at 1600x1200, it doesn't do much past 4x. Enjoy!
