Hey guys, just poppin in to say hi, looks like things are coming along well since the last time i saw them. Ill be back home in a little less than 3 weeks, then the real fun begins!

We had been told to stay out of the central aisle between bunks as we were cleaning. One of our junior TIs saw someone walking in that aisle, and to "encourage" us not to walk down it, pulled out another recruit's portfolio (a black zip-up that you put your paperwork and a few manuals in) and chucked it all the way down the aisle.

Unfortunately, when the TI yelled for everyone to stay out of the aisle, a recruit peeked his head out from behind a bunk to see what was going on, and got hit in the face with the portfolio! :bigsmile:

I was nearby when the junior TI reported this to the senior TI, and had to fight to keep from bursting out in laughter. He said, "Sergeant, I dunno what to do! I f$^&ing hit him!" The look on his face was priceless!

(Keep in mind that for several years TI's have been prohibited from laying hands on the recruits).
