This is a bit of an odd question. Nevertheless, here it is -

I recognize that under high G loads, it is not possible to swivle one's head to look around or atleast that if one tries to do this, it is likely that one will pull a muscle. I was just wondering if eye movement is just as restricted under these conditions.

Eye movement isnt restricted like the rest of your body is. Why? I dont know, but I can have my head pinned to the seat and still look around with my eyes. Your eyes do have the smallest capillaries in them so you are subject to lose blood flow to them earlier than the rest of your body. That is what causes a grey out prior to G Loc. :thumb:

Whoa. Forgot about this one.

Thank You Sir for the answer.

Since this is the case, it isn't completely accurate for a sim to completely restrict panning of the players camera in high G situations is it? In reality we have a wider field of view than our monitors allows. In addition, even in high G situations, we can still pan our eyes for just a bit more viewing in the real thing. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Good idea. Perhaps panning should be restricted as g increases but still allow for peripheral vision.

You could take this a step further and restrict certain command inputs at high g, as your not gonna be punching MFD buttons and turning knobs at that time. Your hands will stay firmly on the controls.
