Ok, I was having a talk with a bud of mine, and we were on the subject of piddlepacks. My friend suddenly asked "What is the procedure they use for using it?". I know that the piddle packs are essentally a Ziplock Bag with a sponge in it, but I myself also dont know the procedure for using it.

I cant figure out how you would use it if you're still in the ACES II.

thanks

They kinda stand on their rudder pedals, stretch themselves and try to get a down flow.... :D Surely sucks :D

"...We don't refuel for another twenty minutes, so it's a good time to go to the bathroom. I make a quick call to T-Rack so someone will keep an eye on me. It's easy to become preoccupied and drift from the group. Urinating while flying an F-16 in the middle of the night isn't easy. If things don't work just right, a pilot can count on being moist for a couple of hours. My technique is to pull the rudder pedals all the way out and use them to prop myself up to get a downhill flow. Positioning the piddle pack is critical. The plastic pouch has a three-inch opening at the top and a highly absorbent sponge inside. I stand on the rudder pedals with my head shoved up against the canopy and pray that it all ends up in the plastic pack, and that I don't need more than one. At the same time, I keep one eye on the formation and the other on my autopilot to make sure I'm not drifting. I don't need to get lost over the ocean in the middle of the night..." Really? Do you think you could upload it somewhere, or maybe use FTP? The censor beeps in that version sort of distorted some of the backround dialogue.

Oh yah, and could some answer this question:

What about female fighter pilots?

What do they do, when they want to tinkle in flight?

I found out that an F16 pilot crashed whilst using his piddle pack. Of all things to go horribly wrong, but wait it gets worse, he had undone his seat harness. At 1500ft he ejected. The aircraft hit the ground on the ramp of plant 42 where B2s were getting built. The pilot survived.

Female pilots use the same piddlepack however they have an adapter that is designed for their anatomy and hooks into the Piddlepack.

The device is called a "Lady J"
