Hey Haole,
I was there that night you dropped by and had a chat with us on our 16th Flyin Tigers TS server...just listened in, but enjoyed everyone else's questions and your answers.
I have 2 questions for ya that I thought up after you left.
1) Do you ever get a chance to snap some pictures from your cockpit? like amazing sunsets/sunrises...or anything that just drops your jaw while you are at altitude? or something just simple that we would enjoy. If so, if it dont get you in any legal trouble, could you post them on the message board here, or send them to email. Just thought it would be cool to see some pics like that.
2) How did you get your Callsign "Haole"? That allways a interesting story from fighter pilots.
Thanks for you time here and on our TS server,
Bond

A lot of pilots think that too until the first time they get shot at....

We aren't allowed to carry cameras on board since we are a single seat fighter. I have been involved in some approved "photo sessions" and have some cool pics that were taken by the combat camera crew of us flying, refueling, etc. If you go to the Code One magazine website they have an online edition of the combat camera edition and it has some cool photos in it if ya want to check it out.
Haole(pronounced like howl-ee)...type it in yahoo search and see what it says...my first deployment with the squadron was to Hawaii for two weeks to train with the Hawaii Air National Guard F-15s and I got my call sign while there. I'm a pretty pale blonde haired guy. I think you get the picture. Haole basically means really white boy from the mainland, etc...
Thanks for the question!

Would these be them? I dont know, I can only guess by some of the tail info. I know some are probably wrong. I looked in their gallery and this was my best shot.

Thanks for the question! I know of one instance when I was in the 523 at Cannon that our pilots carried cameras. We were in Iceland for 3 months flying errrrrr coastal defence with a truly lethal loadout, cap-9's, TP in the cannon, and the most lethal weapon of all........... a Nikon camera hehe, gotta get pictures of those Bear bombers that "accidently" fly near Keflavik. We were a true deterrent with those state of the art weapons. Grab
Those first two pics are our old A models and the last one is a Block 52.
