By previous threads I understanded that FO will fully operate those airplanes: A-10 Thunderbolt II, F-15C Eagle, F-15E Eagle, F-16C Fighting Falcon & F-16D Fighting Falcon....

But I am asking... why just these...
I know that building a full modeled with FM is not easy job...
but I am not saying G2i needs to add those airplanes..
there are companies like those who build add-on airplanes to MSFLIGHT 2004... that will happily convert airplanes to FO format...
also there is large community that upgrades things constantly..

and here in Israel Air Force there is quite more airplanes that F16 and his buddy F15...

I think these could be a nice feature that will help allot to develop the sim community...

I would like to see a sim with a ton of aircraft... however, few issues.

Those aircraft are probably chosen because there is a lot of data on them, they are still top of the world (I am sure people will disagree but I care not), and they are the most 'loved' aircraft by most.

I have found that many of the third party aircraft for FS2004 are highly unrealistic and the quality of their virtual cockpits and such are not all that great. While it is fun to go to external view and see the skin of the aircraft, it isn't all that great from a realism stand point. Some are better than others, but most are shoddy.

This is an American sim, not an Israeli one. Probably another reason why you do not see all the Frnech planes in this one. With these ideas of granduer (of which I do not beleive in) about how great the Eurofighter, Grippen, and others are, I would think they would make it in before any other foreign aircraft.

I think getting the sim out on the market will help develope the sim community. But adding 100's of things to the initial release will only set it back by another 5 years.

terry you always disagree with other people opinion...

in MSFS there are good and bad airplanes but I mention it becouse the payware ones which are sometimes much more realistic then falcon...
so there are quality airplanes... and a lot of them...

And in my opinion when allowing the community and other companies to create addons such as planes and other stuff, the community and the game actually develop...

I think that many people are waiting for feature like this to be includeed in FO...

The Idea users add-ons with new flyable planes ect. is good but...
like Terry wrote (as usually he has right  ) many of them will be unrealistic, bad quality and so on.(look at MFS addons :( )
If someone want make own flyable jet OK, but FO dev. should accept add-on quality before relase (like in IL2, one of my compatriot make great P.Z.L P-11 model and ubi join P-11 in OFFICIAL ADD ON)
