sure, in the signature box of your profile, just put this in - for the example your picture is at www.myurl/mypic.jpg ignore the quotes:

"www.myurl/mypic.jpg"

Sure
1) You must chose logo
2) If you have your own web site put this logo in to wweb site
3) Open this site and find logo
4) Clik right mouse button on this logo and choose propertys
5) There is a URL adress for example http://www.nato.int/icons/natoflag.gif
6) In FO forum (FO discussion) in upper right part of the web site is a Profile button -clik on it.
7) On the bottom there is a pool "Link to off-site Avatar:" put URL adress here (f.e. http://www.nato.int/icons/natoflag.gif)
8 ) Clik submit and its all you must do.
If you can find logo you want in web and you dont't have own www you can send me your logo and I put it on my friends www and send you URL adress. My e-mail is in my profile.

Ok, I'm trying to put a profile pic up and have managed to get the pic to show in the editing screen but when I submit the pic i get an upload failed message. The pic is within the size and kb limits posted. What should I try next?

Hey Dude,

Not sure why it wouldn't be uploading - you have ensured it is 200 x 200 pixels or less in physical size and < 58kb in file size?

Also my pic is just a std jpeg I think - but yea I just resized the pic, went to Avatar in my User CP and uploaded.

Be aware you can also host the pic somewhere else on the net (e.g. Photobucket.com) and link to the pic as Spyro mentioned- might work for ya...or at least if it doesn't upload there either then that's the prob.
