I would like to see weather that varies in different parts of the world/map/ or w/e type of land they use. And I would like to see weather that changes. Imagine yourself being on your way to a mission goal, its sunny but your heading into clouds. you start getting rain on your canopy and there are bogeys ahead. you engage and get into a dogfight meanwhile the clouds roll out, and as you down the last bogey the sun pokes through.. Eh? you like? Well i think it would help immersion, but simply a wish.

Welcome Slasher 16!, the weather, oh boy, this is definatly getting ahead in my wish list series  , but here we go. Weather in the world is different in different countries. I have found rain storms in the southern states (U.S.) are much different that the northern states. Trade winds play a significant part of a dynamic weather system. When modeling weather, I would like to see this. Another thread mentioned real time weather links to the game (I think that would be too much work for what we need in a flight sim). When flying in weather (bad or good) the aircraft will behave a little differently. In good weather, the aircraft should operate at peek performance. In high winds, generally, a slight osilation occurs. In down pores (heavy rains) the engine performance is lowered due to a high content of water being sucked/compressed/burned through the engine. Graphically, weather can be awsome!!! During heavy rain, the canopy is dotted with millions of water specks blowing accross the canapy. A lightning storm (especially at night) can strike aircraft and produce a bright flash. At night, the land scape is mostly dark and feature less. When a bolt of lightning strikes, the entire surrounding area is fully lit for just under a second (generally). Just flying in clouds offers visibility/performance issues. Waether is a definate part of realisim and part of this "High Fidelity" flight sim!
