I'm awared that in Fighter Ops, just like most other games of similar nature, have a good array of "adversary" aircraft. And there will be a mission editor.
Here is my silly question:
If I want to, say, generate an opponent equipped with US-made aircraft and weapons and/or an ally equipped with "adversary" aircraft and weapons, will I be able to do so?
In Falcon 4.0 it is possible (albeit the national insignia remains the same for those weapons that have one) . Would it be possible to improve the degree of freedom on that aspect?
Interesting, you could arm your enemy. I suppose that's no problem in a mission builder. Say, with in the mission builder, you could create a bomber loaded with WDM's and it's chemical! You have to stop it before it fly's over population! Interesting!!!

IIRC, arming NPC aircraft feature has been there since Falcon 3.

Hi,
What degree of freedom are you interested in seeing?
As far as I know, there is no plan to restrict the aircraft to any particular team (except perhaps in a default campaign module sometime in the future).
Are you also asking that american jets be able to use russian weapons and vice versa?
If so, I am not sure it would be possible to realistically model these situations.
What did you mean by having more freedom?
Thanks,

Absolutely not. Have browsed a few military forums from time to time, I at leasst know that integrating foreign weapons is a very complex issue.
Besides, what I've seen are mostly European-made weapons integrated into American-made aircraft and American-made weapons into European-made aircraft (well until recently Europe didn't have the "complete range" of indigenously-designed weapons for their aircraft to begin with) . So far I found the only exceptions are Pakistan (their J-7 and Q-5 can fire AIM-9) and Iran (their American-made aircraft and Su-24 can fire Chinese-made missiles) . Otherwise, I wouldn't ask for what I never heard of.

Actually, about the only thing I can think of right now is the military insignia on the aircraft. Like old flight sims such as "Fighter Wings" and "Advanced Tactical Fighters", where a player can select his/her nationality (in case of Advanced Tactical Fighters, other NPC's nationality) , and his/her aircraft (in case of Advanced Tactical Fighters, NPC aircraft) will have corresponding national air force insignia.
