Particularly Allies Ops and Adversary Ops.

I know that there's no details. But I'd like to know what those titles exist to do......

When LO-MAC hit the shelf, I was actually interested in it for 10 seconds.

But...... maybe I'm ignorant, but while I don't at all mind the existense of
campaigns based on real-life potential conflicts....... don't you guys find
that there are far too many titles where US- and Western European-made
weapons are reserved for player's allies while the others are reserved for
player's enemies?

I can tell you what I know and that's Fighter Ops will be a centerpeice for other mod's. The Other mod's so far are Navy Ops, Army Ops, Marine Ops, (Fighter Ops will model the Airforce I think) and other tentative titles such as International Ops (I came up with that one :) where aircraft from other contries are introduced. If you got a suggestion I recomend you post up!

While some titles are self-explanatory...... well actually Allies Ops and Adversary Ops are a little self-explanatory, too. I'm just wondering about the scope of those titles...... well anyway......

I guess the words "Allies" and "Adversary" kinda bothered me a bit.

Argh, I've played too much Ace Combat 4 (which tends to have scenarioes
that have MiG-29 and Su-37 escorting F/A-18 and F-15E) . A force
consisting of the very best jet fighters every country on Earth has to offer
against an equally high-tech opponent (sure you can also say that Su-37
and Su-47 are high-tech, too) .

I know I know, games with scenarioes similar to the one described above
tend to have an alternate-reality background to begin with, and
simulations games tend to associate themselves with real-life political
reality. But I still couldn't help to wonder if I really have to keep shooting
down jets made in countries like Russia, PRC, India, Iran, etc. as long as
I'm flying those made by US and Western European countries.

No No, they are good rants. I posted up about a fluid time line in which multiple world crisis arise and different situations and responses are implimented independantly! That mean's that Koginooza (a mythical rouge republic) aquires several billion dollars worth of hardware and mixes it up with the US of some other good guy nation. And who's to say that you could'nt play a pilot of a rouge nation as well. :D

I wouldn't go that far, but I'm sure there are those among us that wanna be "bad" in the game for a change.
