Ok guys now is the time for us to let everyone know that if there was to be one sim out there that would rule all the others, what features would be on it.... ill start off.

I read a suggestion from another user to be able to start your own military career with rank and all that fun stuff, well im gonna take that up a notch and say it would be even cooler if they could make that realistic like the real military like having to go through a boot camp of flying school or something like that, but having to go through taht b4 you can actually get rank and start flying missions. and then when you do become a lieutenant you are part of a squadron and you fly within the flight and take orders from the flight leader and such, and when you gain more experience and rank you become a flight leader, squadron commander, ect... well i think that would be really cool and a good addition.

Buckshot mentioned in another post, and Stang has mentioned in several places that we plan to do something along those lines. It's different with every country but in the USAF you go compete for a UPT (undergraduate pilot training) slot, and from there you fly the T-37 or T-6A (Texans are slowly replacing the T-37's), then go onto the fighter/bomber track which fly T-38's or the tanker/airlift track which fly T-1's. I believe I remember Buckshot telling me the RAAF uses a similar version of the T-6 for their training and a country in Europe uses the T-6 as well (these aren't the old T-6's by the way, new rebuilt Raytheon T-6A's).

But as far as the actual training goes, I think that will really be up to which virtual squadron you fly with. Plus, learning from a human pilot is much better than an AI pilot. :)

To be honest I´m a little tired of wish lists... :x

For now I wish that FO doesn´t become the same fiasco as OIR

A entire community wish so many things to oir and look ...
Less wishes and false promisses... deliver ! 8)

Wan´t Wish lists ?? Read G2i forums... :drink:

No its a good idea that people do post what they would like to see in the sim as its a community project, so the more info on what the community wants the better it will be

speaking of wish lists . . .

I wish we could actually see something concrete. The FAQ is nice and all, but a screenshot, a data dump, anything.

I am as patient as the next guy and realize that these things take time, but how much time does G2i/GenAv need to show us something substantial?

As Bladehawk said "just keep clicking your heals". Bladehawk mentioned a demo in a month or two in another thread.
