... if anybody's played B17 II then they know of the repairs that had to be accomplished to get your aircraft back in the air.

Perhaps another aspect of the game to deal with on the campaign is parts and repair times.

Maybe something along the line of setting a minimum turn time on aircraft (an hour at the absolute minimum for an ICT when we were doing them). But that might get a big much having to track each aircraft in your squadron...or then maybe having an AUTO manage function.

Aircraft that take damage, depending on the severity, would take X hours to get repair and reserviced.

Hmmm...shall we talk dollars?

Ya'll want to talk about REALISM, how bout not getting that CAP in the air because the last guy to fly the jet scraped the speedbrakes on landing?

I know I know...dern guy won't shut up about maintenance but there's lotsa sayings in the Air Force...

"Can't Kick A$$ without tanker gas."
"If you ain't Ammo, you ain't $hit."
----"If you ARE Ammo, then you ARE $hit..."
"You can't fly, without Supply."

the old Tornado (Digital Integrations) utilizes that, :) skip the speedbrakes, even landing hard costs 1:00 hour in Tornado, however player is able to continue to campaign without delay, only difference is more enemy attacks on allied assets in the mean time.
