g'day guys, I was listening to the conversation that G2i had with the 16th yesterday, and obviously what you have planned sounds very exciting, almost to good to be true!!

What i am confused about is that, you have gone to great pains to inform us that you will not be using the Code owned by Atari. That means you still have SP3 (80mb) and probably the BMS code (20mb) totalling about 100mb. Yet you indicated that you beleived that you will commence beta testing in approximately 30 to 60 days (Claudes words). Surely a completed game would require in the area of 400 to 600mb. So where is the rest of the code comming from??

Obviously i have no idea what i am talking about, but i would be interested in the answer to the above question

Hi Sting, with the 400-600mb figure you are confusing code with code and data.

As mentioned, due to copyright reasons we cannot use any Atari code, and to be honest the falcon code is getting very long in the tooth anyhow.

We have acquired a completely new code base, which gives us some very exciting possiblities, at this stage we can't go into any more detail on that.

Thanks Buck, that was the answer i was looking for. I'm glad that this is not just another bandaid on top of Falcon 4.
