Is it just me or does the site not remember who I am everytime I visit? Then after logging in it shows the the new threads but after I read the first unread thread, it marks them all read.

Is the site having cookie problems?

I had the same problem, I found deleting all my cookies fixed it, but I don't know what the original cause was. I have informed Eluzion.

Also I find the new post issue works better if you save a direct link to the forum, and don't go to the main site and then to the forum. Must be some sort of issue there when it transfers you messing up your cookie.

Yea this happens on two seperate machines.

When I read a thread and return to the forum, it marks all unread threads as read.

I will delete my cookies to see if that helps any.

We'll try to fix it asap though.

OKay, cookies are not the issue. I deleted all my figherops.com cookies and linked directly to the forum.

I had several threads with new messages, after clicking on the first one and then back to the forum it marks the rest read.

Let me know if there is anything you need me to try or test.

Here is a link with to discussion with the same issues...

I have tried what was suggested. Please log out, delete your cookies, then try logging back in. I hope that fixed the problem. :)

It seems to be working correctly for me.

Eluzion, how long you been flying with the 16th? I flew with them a few years ago, part of the 164th under Jammer and Widowmaker. I went by Slacker...

Great bunch of guys..

Been flying with the 16th for a little over 8-9 months now I think? Not sure. Haven't been able to fly as much as I'd like lately though. :(

Yeah same here, still happening, seems to be ok if I stay logged in, just when I log of for more than a couple of hours it seems to clear all the unreads after I click the first one.

If I log out then come back in say 10 mins later it seems ok.

It is working between my work machine and my home machine. It does log me off, but you can set that under the cookie section.

Once I log back on, it shows all unread threads until I read them or mark the forum as read.

IE has changed something in one of the latest security updates, which is affecting a number of sites. It could be this affecting the cookies.

I have problems even login in to one site.

It's getting more of a problem as more and more people get the 'Update'

Not too sure what it is exactly, but I'll ask at one of the sites affected, as they posted that the IE Update was a problem

No problems here with Mozilla Firefox. :D The side scrollbar follows the colour of my desktop theme instead of the site theme, so there's no problem seeing it either.

The problem only seems to happen when I am logged off for a decent amount of time. I can come in and see that there are maybe 3 forums with new posts, go to the first forum, no problems, there might be say 4 threads in there with new posts, go to the first new post and bang that's where all cookies seem to be reset. After that if I leave it logged in the rest of the day, it will work fine.
