hi all:

first post for me here in (this forum)

ok here is my question.

does Fighter Ops use falcon4 code at all?

if it does how much would you say (percentage)

if it uses no code from falcon4 at all how long has it been in developement

what im trying to say is this

was this Fighter Ops someone elses creation besides (G2I) and how long did that company work on it before (G2I) joined forces?

Does Claude have control over both companys to enforce his vision what he wants it to be?

im just trying to get an idea how much the new sim fighter ops will or will not be like falcon4

if you guys are not allowed to talk about some of the info i asked i will try and understand but if you can answare in a way that is discreet or what not i will understand that too :)

thanks and GL on new venture

I think that the use of Falcon code is not as important as the use of the ideas that are inherent to the Falcon architecture.

well what i was getting at is that the game is sipposed to be launched in Q$ 2004 and i was just wondering in ordor to do that is part of falcon4s code used to do that or how is it possible

i see 4 options to release fighter ops in Q42004

1. use some of falcon4s code

2. use code another company has been working on already.

3. G2I secretly working on new code for many years just keeping quiet.

4. release a game that is totally unfinished

im just trying to figure out how this is going to be achieved but i know its not by option "5"

start brand new engine and game totally be new and finished by Q4 2004

need more info me is hungry

You'll have to give us a little more info than that bud.

Can you view the Area 51 forum?

I would assume that he was either in the Announcement or news forum. I was once there and tried to reply to something and I got the same message and it was making me angry until I found out that NO BODY can post in those forums...

Yeah, it seems he was, as I replied in the other thread he posted in, those forums are for XSI management only for official announcements/news, nothing to do with Area 51.
