Hi Guys

Thanks for coming by, we appreciate your support!

Haole should be in here in the next day or so. I have his computer (Christine) at my house installing a new hard drive and memory (Finished) and getting Windows XP Pro up and running right.

I should have it finished and back to him tomorrow so that he can jump in here anytime he likes.

Also too I am setting up both SP3 and our latest build on his pc so that he jump in a few flight with you guys.

Hang tight a day or so and he'll back in here with a good as new computer.

Great news bud. I can´t wait to get some IFR time in with Haole. In SP3 I´m usually on the tanker within 1 to 2 min, although, right at the last moment it goes into a bank that I can baraely keep up with.

I won´t come down to the "do not enter" channel. If you both are up to a flight, just give me a shout no matter which channel you find me in.

Gawd! Refueling...that is my downfall. I can't tell you how many times I have gone Bingo because I couldn't refuel. If were a real pilot and as bad at refueling as I am in the sim I would fall like lead brick out of the sky because of no fuel.

Oh well, at least I can land and take off. :drink:

Refueling is the best though. :)

Just remember that refueling from the tanker is like landing on a carrier..... small corrections.... VERY small corrections.

The second you jerk a control, the second you screwed the whole thing up. :)

2500 hours as RAf mudmover..countless prods both dry and wet... always had a sweat on when tanking... day or night VMC and IMC..baskets down intakes... "spokes no damage".... soft contact.. no fuel flow mid atlantic.... always a running F^&* at a rolling doughnut. Worst of all was the KC135 with drogue attachment... no speed balance on the drogue ...>5 kts could break of the probe somewhere south of Iraq.

Not sure if I would prefer the USAF method... fly formation and let some other bloke put the refuelling boom trough your canopy....

...either way... get a bunch of fj pilots together and talk will get round to AAR and the nightmares it entails... it never gets easier.... except whe you an airline pilot now and you dont need to AAR.. lots of petrol!

I too am happy to be here, but in my military career I was the pilots worst nightmare.

My motto was "if it flys, it dies".

"Board green"
"Birds affirm!"
"Birds away"
"Mark India"
"Contact Skin to Skin"
"Miller Time"

Well glad to see the chair was pre-warmed.Personally refueling isn't the hard part........It's trying to swipe the Credit Card, and get the reciept after that gives me the hardest time.................LOL

Just checking in and couldn't resist the comment.
