Greetings....
I'm fairly new to the community (ran across SP3, BMS, FF2, etc about 6 months ago) and I'm amazed at how much work you guys (the community) have done. Its absotuly incredibal! I am pretty bummed about ORI but if G2i is able to pull off FO it could really be something special. I espicaly like how the community resources will help in the development... sounds great, I just hope it can be done. Which brings me to the point of my post... how would one go about contributing to the project? I'm a programmer by trade, however I think this is out of my league since I do mostly Java and C in linux (I'd love to see how its designed though). I'd be willing to help in any way from helping to maintain the web site to testing to contributing code to offering ideas.... whatever. I'm sure you guys have tons of volenteers but if you find yourself in need of sombody who is fairly technical and willing to learn anything... I'd love to help out.
In the meantime.... any suggestions on how one would go about learning how to mod Falcon 4? I'm just curious about how you guys pulled off what you have done with the boxed version.... its not even the same game!!! Since I've started playing again the only two games that run on my PC are F4 and IL2 :).
Thanks and good luck with the project.
